Write to us — the person who builds the plugin answers

Pre-sales questions, technical problems, refund requests or security reports: we will reply as sonn as possible.

Frequently asked

Before you write to us

Five answers that cover most of the messages we get. If yours isn't here, the form is just above.

How long does it take to get a reply?

We reply within {{stated response time}} on working days. There's no switchboard and no first-line support passing tickets around: the person who develops the plugin is the person who reads and answers.

If nothing arrives, check your spam folder before writing again — automatic confirmations land there more often than we'd like.

What should I include so a technical problem gets solved on the first reply?

Three things make the difference: what you were doing when it happened, what you expected, and what happened instead. An error message copied in full is worth ten lines of description.

If you have them to hand, add your WordPress version, PHP version and hosting provider. All three are on Deskmode's Site health screen, alongside the score.

Never send us passwords, API keys or FTP credentials. We don't need them to understand a problem, and email is not a safe place to put them. If access genuinely becomes necessary, we'll ask for it through a suitable channel.

Can I ask for a refund?

Yes, within {{refund window}} of purchase, by writing through this form. You don't have to justify the request, though knowing what didn't work helps us improve.

If the problem is technical, try telling us about it before asking for the refund: a good share of what we receive turns out to be a configuration, and at that point the refund isn't needed.

I found a vulnerability. Where do I report it?

Through this form, with "security" in the subject. Security reports take priority over everything else.

We ask you not to publish the details until we've released a fix — that's the time it takes to protect everyone running the plugin. We'll keep you posted on timing and, if you'd like, credit you in the changelog of the release that fixes it.

What language can I write in?

English and Italian: those are the two languages in which we can guarantee a precise answer, with no misunderstandings over technical detail.

The plugin interface, on the other hand, is translated into five languages — English, Italian, Spanish, French and German — and each user picks their own.
